About me the artist

I grew up doing art. My first memory is from around 4 years old and my adopted dad had color a sailboat, I colored the entire thing green. From there I was hooked on art. I fell in love with painting, sketching, watercolors, oils and acrylics. 

  For a few years (20 actually) I toured around the world. I got see art in 37 countries, from statues that were 3,000 years old, to paintings from some of histories greatest artistic minds. I used this time I spent traveling as a way to grow a greater understanding and appreciation for the artistic talents that exist all over the world. 

  I often get asked what my favorite medium is, it’s oils, although you’ll notice most of my art is portrait sketches. There’s just something I love about using oils, the feel of the paint and how they blend on the canvas.
